The Cads have been called lounge surf, and also compared to the Shadows because of their clean melodies. At times the HCs use vibes to create a mood like a cool smooth cocktail, as on Enchantment and Paradise Lost. Other tunes are peppy and upbeat or even menacing, as on Forbidden Shores. Beautiful album – innovative and unique, while still being surfy and fun.
